The Monarch is a Class Three Firefly Transport. She's just a little over her prime, battered but never beaten. With no weapons so to speak, she relies on her legendary heart of an engine to get her and the drew out of trouble. If that doesn't work, she has more hiding places on her than a school yard.
With her Duel shuttles, Navigation computer, and Mule on-board she's as diverse as they come.
 
Also, with her crew, there are always a few surprises behind her hull. The Firefly is one of the most versatile ships in the Verse. Antiquated? perhaps. Temperamental? Most definitely, but she'll treat her crew better than they treat her. Never underestimate the Monarch. She's a Firefly through and through.
