History:
Hex grew up on a primary Core planet. He was raised by a Fed sponsored orphanage. By the time Hex was five, he realized
he had a knack at talking people into doing things. By twelve, he'd picked every lock in the orphanage so he could play with
friends. At sixteen it became apparent he was not going to be adopted, so he decided to start a career.
Luckily, he ran into "Two-fingers" Jones. What made Jones so terrific was nobody knew who he was. He didn't even have
a reputation. The man was a model citizen. He took Hex under his wing and trained him to be a perfect thief. Then, on Hex's
seventeenth birthday his world came crashing down.
As a ward of the state, Hex was drafted into the war. He was in for six months before the war came to an end. Because
he was young and not particularly skilled, Hex was assigned duty as a supply clerk.
He was an amazing supply clerk. All units under him got every device, weapon, or food the requisitioned. He traded, bartered,
and bribed. Then he supplied the Browncoats. He was even brass enough to set up a bogus charity to fund a Independence Refugee
fund for children. In the Alliance's name. Not to mention he amassed a small fortune in black market sales for himself.
After the war, he returned to the Core and took up odd jobs. One job he filched a Vid Disc that was of a high ranking
Colonel in the Alliance having an extra marital affair. Knowing this was way to hot, Hex booked passage to the Outer Rim.
Having a few contacts he figures he can knock around the "frontier" a bit until the heat dies down.
