Stingray Class Enforcement Ship, Lotus
External View

The Stingray looks much more intimidating than it really is. Originally used as a troop transport ship, its biggest assets are the double enforced hull and massive engine. The Roddon 4 reactor engine is a strong workhorse. The Stingray was built for torque, strength, and reliability more than speed.

After the war, most were salvaged or brought to auction for transport use. Captain Bishop purchased the Lotus for merchant needs. When the Alliance called out for contractors on the Rim, Bishop had the Lotus retro-fitted with tow forward "pop" or concussion guns. The Pop gun fires a range exploding ballistic shell. This, coupled with the energy depth charges outfited to the rear for land operations, makes her a formidable ship.

Stringray Class Enforcement Ship, Lotus
Internal Layout

The Lotus bridge consists of a three man console set up. The front is the pilot deck. Behind and to the left is a navigator console. Against the rear is a shipboard diagnostic console. All that is required for flight is a pilot, but all three positions filled makes for a much smoother operation.

A crew of twelve is a full compliment (Plus CO and XO) however, there are berths enough for sixteen. Each berth is double occupancy, with the exception of the Captains quarters and the XO quarters.

Lotus is equipped with a standard Med Infirmary, crew lounge/galley, and a secured armory for hand weapons and armor.

The Lotus under belly is the hold. There is an area for a supply and confiscated cargo hold, plus a holding cell area for any detainees. Also, there is a detainee processing area where all prisoners are searched, retina scanned, booked, etc.

The rear third level is the shuttle bay docking area. There are air locks on the upper hull, lower hull, and the front loading area.

Patrol Shuttles

Patrol Shuttles Kinzie and XXXX
The Kinzie was named for the six year old daughter of the first General Elect of the Alliance Forces at Grizzly Hill at Corpus Moon. He and his forces were the first to do battle with the Browncoats.

The other patrol shuttle is as of yet unnamed.

A Stingray Class comes standard equipped with four personal shuttles. For the Lotus's purposes, two of the four personal shuttles were removed and replaced with Class IIII patrol shuttles. These are two man, atmo ready shuttles equipped with .50 caliber compression guns with an oxygen feed. The downside is that the weapons are extremely temperamental and have an outdated targeting system that relies on line of sight strafing targets only.

Personal Shuttles Watson and XXXX

Our two 'personal' shuttles, neither actually for personal use. Watson has been converted into a mobile crime lab by our forensic detective, Orenda Brandt. The other as of yet unnamed shuttle is put to good use by Parole Officer Katren Tallon in her work.

In addition to these, the Lotus is equipped with a Mule ATV, and stocked armory thanks to the Alliance.
