If the Alliance is paying to enforce the law, they have to supply the tools for the job, right? Well here they are, second hand weapons that weren't even issued during the war. Some of this equipment may be as old as you are.

The HA-42 "Horse Kicker"
An old Alliance special, a semi-auto pistol. It's not the most accurate, but she is old reliable. It's equipped with a cooling cylinder underneath and packs a hell of a kick. With the cooling rod, it's a bit hard for a quick draw, but a specialty "quick" holster is available. Fifteen years ago it was an Alliance standard. Eight shots held together by a Mag field make her a formidable weapon.

SPAS-404 12 Guage Slug Thrower
This semi and/or fully auto shotgun is the powerhouse of riot gear. It holds a 12 guage slug with a manual dispersal switch. An adjustable magnetic field can be used to hold the shell together for longer range shots. Also known as the "Sledge Rifle". No aiming problems with this bad boy.

Body Armor

There are times when an officer needs a little protection. Body armor can save your life - even this old stuff. Lotus officers are issued series two body armor. It's hot, itchy, and bulky but will stop a lot of  lead. It comes with a helmet, chest plate, elbow, thigh, and shin armor. Not recomended for long wear.

Also Standard Issue: Stun Club, Wrist Shackles, and Gas Spray. In addition, each officer will carry a badge and personal ident card.
